UK 6 Month Tourist Visa

When she arrived in UK they must have stamped her passport as evidence of entry

I think that the 8th of July is the date when the visa was granted (there should be also a date precising when the visa becomes void)

So 23rd of August should be it but why don't you contact the Embassy?

UK visas begin from the date they are issued, unless a request for it to be post dated is made when the application is submitted.

So, if the visa is dated 8th July, then that is when it starts and it will expire 6 months from that date, i.e. 7th January.

      Jealous Rage Turns Deadly: Man Kills Ex-Girlfriend’s New Partner

A shooting has rocked the normally quiet district of Tha Chang in Surat Thani province, after a man, reportedly driven by jealousy, fatally shot his ex-girlfriend’s new partner before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle. The incident occurred around 19:30 on 3 June at a residence in Moo 4, Sawiat Subdistrict. Police were alerted by locals and rushed to the scene, where they found the lifeless body of Mr Thanakrit Chueamun, 31, from Phitsanulok province. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was found lying face-up on the ground in front of the house. Several bullet casings and a pistol holster were recovered nearby. The suspected gunman has been identified as Mr Sanchai Thongnuipram 36, a local resident of Surat Thani. According to police, he arrived at the home on a Honda PCX motorcycle and confronted Mr Thanakrit, allegedly after learning of his relationship with Mr Sanchai’s ex-girlfriend, Ms Supatta Kraisin, the owner of the property. According to Ms Supatta’s statement to police, Mr Sanchai had been attempting to reconcile their relationship, but she had already moved on and begun dating Mr Thanakrit. The confrontation quickly escalated into violence, with Mr Sanchai reportedly drawing a 9mm handgun and shooting Mr Thanakrit in a fit of rage. He then fled the scene on his motorcycle. Police investigators and forensic teams from Region 8 are currently pursuing leads and reviewing security footage from the area as part of an ongoing manhunt. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Mr Sanchai’s whereabouts to contact their local police station immediately. The former Cambodian leader visited Thailand in February 2024 to see his long-time friend, Thaksin Shinawatra.
