Maxnet And Email From Own Website

I have changed from maxnet premier to the 10 meg subscription. The speed is great downloading real fast so no complaints there. The problem is however that i cant seem to send mails anymore. I have a website and mailserver in Holland and normaly i could just send emails now i can only receive them. Has maxnet blocked certain ports ?

Yes,

on the regular maxnet packages the smtp port is blocked. They are open on the Premier package.

Use smtp.tttmaxnet.com instead.

how do i use smtp.tttmaxnet.com ? i need to imput my own mail servers adress.. could you enlighten me a bit.

Ok i got my website hoster to change the port and now i can use it again. There is a way around it. The few days that i needed to use maxnets server were bad, emails would not send and many errors. I am happy it could be changed.
