US Embassy Statement on the Dissolution of Move Forward Party in Thailand
This sh*te after Rishie (Rich) Sunak got up for an official speech in front of 10 Downing Street to tell the British public that the election of George Galloway was "a danger to British democracy." Then more of the same from the UK government about Nigel Farage and Reform UK and all their candidates were insinuated to equally be "a danger to British democracy." Then they have the gall to issue this pablum: "Pluralism and freedom of speech are central principles of democracy. The dissolution of another major political party in Thailand is therefore a setback for these principles. We encourage all parties to uphold democratic rights and representation." Blah blah blah blah yada yada yada... In the meanwhile in the UK freedom of speech department, Britons are being told they'll face prison time for exercising their right to free speech for sharing videos of the UK riots. Oh - and don't pray on the street. Hell - you can't make this up. It reads better than fiction. So more hypocrisy from the bastions of "Western Liberal Democracy." Remember brown people: "Do as we say - not as we do. Sincerely - your betters in the West." -

Really no need for the condescending comment , I knew the difference between the two , just the usual " I'm really clever and you're really stupid" comment from your lot . Its common knowledge that jail cells cost more than hotel rooms -

Which Policies do you support?
You're just too lazy to think before you post nonsense. It also seems your overly impressed with your intelligence. Climate change is sickening and killing quite a few people world wide. Extreme heat waves, many floods, droughts, community water systems compromised by flood waters, stronger and more frequent storms.... Too bad clueless people still get to vote. -

Crackdown on Illegal Herbal Shops in Pattaya: Foreign Employees Apprehended
There was a raid on three herbal shops in Pattaya yesterday. The police uncovered illegal employment, false health claims, and deceit upon investigation. The Pattaya Indian Community Association reported these shops. They stated that the shops were exploiting customers by selling overly priced and ineffective herbal remedies. The businesses were compelling foreigners to purchase these expensive items. In response to these allegations, the Consumer Protection Department at the Chon Buri Provincial Public Health Office, the Bang Lamung District Health Office, and the Pattaya Tourist Police coordinated a surveillance operation on the said shops. Upon confirmation of the illegal activities, officials took action. Officials found an array of products such as cosmetics, shampoo, soap, herbal indigestion remedies, hair oil, lotions, and skin oils. These products claimed to have exaggerated effectiveness. Some of these items were even unregistered, violating Section 17 of the Herbal Products Act. All these items were seized for evidence. Five people were apprehended in this operation. Four were accused of encouraging foreigners to buy the doubtful products, while one foreigner was working without a permit. Pattaya Tourist Police Superintendent, Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyapong Ensarn, verified that the evidence and suspects were handed over to the investigators at Pattaya City Police Station. The charges include the production, sale, or import of medicines without approval under the Drug Act and sale of unregistered herbal products under the Herbal Products Act.
