Samuian Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 ...anyone? are the passengers coming out throught the same exit (for pick up) or is there still a different pick up point? thanks!
churchill Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 They use Gate 1 , I think , for arrivals and departures .
koheesti Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 They use Gate 1 , I think , for arrivals and departures . Where you get dropped off for departures is on the other end of the airport from where you come out upon arrival at the Meeting Area or whatever it's called. I was going to make a screenshot from Google Earth but on there it's all still just palm trees.
Rooo Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Well 90% of the time your luggage will end up with domestic.I keep on being told to go to other carousel, but after waiting there like an idiot, a custom's officer asks all OK? Yes I say. Well guess what your bags are on # 1. BKK air persist in telling you to pick up your luggage in wrong place. All arrival immigration is now done in BKK. PS : Unless a direct flight from Singapore.
goldfinger Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 yes, but waiting for the guests at the "meeting Area" will be not wrong.
koheesti Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 yes, but waiting for the guests at the "meeting Area" will be not wrong. That's right. As far as I know, the guard won't let you get any closer than the "meeting area" if you are there to pick up someone. Hasn't it been this way at least since they built that shopping street between the check-in and arrival hall?
Rooo Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Sorry I misread the original question. Yes they all arrive at the same exit & meeting point.
Samuian Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 So ALL Passengers finally will pass through: "...the same exit & meeting point" - this is something useful - thanks folks! and yes - it's flight from Singapore!
