Anyone know where I can buy a deep fat fryer for household use NOT a business fryer as that is too big for my needs

Makro say they have but everytime I go they say they are out of stock and Lotus don't have

Suggestions preferably local but Bangkok if all else fails

Surely a deep pan (bought almost anywhere) filled with hot oil, is a deep fat fryer?

There is a chain of stores in Thailand called Verasu. They sell upscale kitchen / household stuff. Check them out.

Ive got one, bought it from one of these door to door salesmen (Pattaya)....think i paid about 2500 baht for it. Your in Sattahip right? i/m going to Carrefour tommorow if i remember i/ll have a look for you and post again.

Ive seen them at Robinson in Sri Racha .

Your in luck Carrefour have them in..............approx 15 inch long by 6 inch wide in Stainless steel 3290 baht .They are the same as the commercial ones with lift out basket but designed for the home.

To find them look for the table top ovens/broilers they are just past them............Princess is the make.
