I think the OP should name the insurance company, assuming that the friend of a friend told him.

I for one would prefer to avoid doing business with a company that fails to report such an obvious fraud (same woman cashing in 3 policies she has signed for 3 different old men in the space of a couple of months) to the police.

Or is this really a man-in-a-bar-told-me type story?

This isn't about doing business with an insurance company, it is about doing business with a hooker. It is the Hooker's job to extract as much money from her John as possible. It is the John's job to be aware of such arrangement and conduct himself accordingly.

Thats the dumbest so called scam I ever heard of ...... anyone who does that deserves what they get. Putting a policy in a BG's name ? Are you kidding me? LOL .... would anyone fall for that on a trip to a brothel in Las Vegas ?

I dunno, never been to Vegas, cheap as Thailand? :)

Why can't the staff do anything? Cause they get 10% of the 100k?

One might think the office percentage will be in the 20k (perhaps cancellation fee) not returned.....all above board...

Good warning MJP - I guess could happen anywhere..not just Pattaya. :D

Never heard of it happening in Devon . . . :) But you never know!

That's because in Devon it wouldn't be a BG but a sheep. :D

As previously noted, bargirl threads are not welcome on TV (check the forum rules) - further attempts to open them will lead to loss of posting privileges. This one was already open and slipped through the net, so no warnings issued. Thread closed.
