Thai Holidays 2005 - 2006

Each year I produce a number of wall/planning academic calendars for schools to use.

There is one with the Thai Public Holidays (hol details supplied by TAT)

These can be downloaded for free from

Best printed on A3 in colour ... they are "Word" format.

If anyone has any other dates for events in Thailand then I'd be grateful to know so I can add them.

The list provided to you by TAT includes dates that are not necessarily gazetted public holidays for the entire nation. They may be celebration days in a particular province or area, but are not celebrated nation wide.

To my knowledge, the only gazetted nation wide public holidays for 2006/2549 are as follows:

02 Monday Substitution for New Year's Day (Sunday 1)

13 Monday Substitution for Makha Bucha Day (Sunday 12)

06 Thursday Chakri Day

13 - 14 - 15 - 16 Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, Songkran - Thai New Year

11 Monday Substitution for Constitution Day (Sunday 12)

31 Sunday New Year's Eve - not sure when the substitution for this will be, as Monday is the 1st Jan 2007/2550, so maybe Tuesday 2nd.

I think I have all these listed already ... looksjust like the list from the TAT ... which I've also posted at the URL above.

What about some of the regional events .... any idea where I might find those?
