Hello again all, hope everyone had a good and safe xmas and wish you all a happy and healthy new year.

I'm now living in Laos and need to know about visa's for Laos, im currently waiting a work visa but this may take some time as the project is not up and running just yet.

I know this is a Thai forum, but the search for info here is proving difficult to say the least! is there such a thing as a tourist visa like the Thai one?

I think i need about 3-6 month visa, is this possible in Laos? i am currently running back to the border every 28 days, and paying $35 for my visa, i could also go to Vientiane or Luang prabang but this is a very long journey and the costs for an extension is $50!

thanks for your time i hope someone can help me out here, otherwise im going to have to go back to Thailand for afew months.
