We are in the process of applying for a tourist visa for my wife. She pretty much has all of her "ducks in a row" concerning paperwork. Just had a question about interview procedure. Step three on the embassy's PDF shows in what order the paperwork should be in and is as follows:

PLACE YOUR DOCUMENTS IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER:

• Passport

• DS-156 (EVAF version)

• DS-157

• DS-158 (if required)

• Fee Receipt

• Form I-20 or DS-2019 (if required)

She has a folder showing evidence with her ties to Thailand. Will they ask for this separately, or does she attach it along with the DS-156, 157?

I know this post may seem trivial, but we do want to make sure that all of our "I's" are dotted and "T's" crossed.

Any info on the US tourist visa process is greatly appreciated. We will be going next week. Thanks in advance!

While in line outside the Embassy, staff will go through the basic paper work and ensure they are in the correct order. Will not be a problem. Once inside they will be screened to ensure all documents are present then collected for a computer pre-screen in advance of the actual interview.
