I am beginning to suffer from plantar fasciitis since moving to Thailand. I enjoy my walks fo 3-8 km (2-3 times a week).

I went to look for a pair of Reebok walking shoes, but it's been a while and what I am used to just isn't around anymore.

Any suggestions as to a brand and "model" available here? The only catch is that I have a wide foot, and size 10/44.

Thanks.

phetaroi, I also had this condition. I found the solution was to buy any decent make of walking shoe AND have custom insoles made. There is a New Zealander foot specialist in Bangkok who can take a mold of your feet and provide you with custom insoles. (I only had problems with one foot, but it makes sense to have insoles for both feet...)

Since using my basic shoes and insoles from about 6 months ago, I no longer have plantar fasciitis at all! The insoles were not cheap, about 5,000 baht a pair, but they worked wonders! You can swap them between shoes as needed.
