February 3, 201016 yr Yesterday I adopted a one year old dog. She's a mutt (I guess) and she is very small. If anyone knows a dog trainer in the Nimmanhaemin area, please post here or send a PM. Thanks!
February 3, 201016 yr its not in the Nimmanhaemin area but I have heard nothing but good reports about Nieke at Lucky dogs, I have never used lucky dogs but all reports are favourable.
February 3, 201016 yr Agreed Nienke is a good recommendation, she's been training dogs out here for around ten years and has a very good reputation, she is based in Doi Saket.
February 3, 201016 yr Yes Nienke is great and she has a banner at the top of this page, highly recommended
February 3, 201016 yr Wow, thank you for the compliments. Much appreciated. We provide obedience courses intern (boarding and training) or as a 10 lesson program for owner and dog, where both are the students. The 10 lesson program can be done at the owner's house as well, provided there is enough space to train. The training method I use is positive reinforcement where we focus on the behavior the owner desires, which gets rewarded, in stead of focusing on behavior that is not desired and then gets corrected/punished. You're welcome to give me a pm, or call 08 triple9 78 146) Nienke
February 3, 201016 yr Author Nienke, Thanks. Will call you late today or tomorrow. I'd prefer training in my house and maybe in a vacant lot about 200 meters from my home. Khun Mai
February 3, 201016 yr a first for the CM Forum, 3 people all agreeing and a happy outcome, please Mods close this thread while it is still perfect
February 3, 201016 yr Also if you need the board your dogs for a vacation etc I can also recommend Nienke's kennels. Breaks my heart to lave them but they are in good hands.
March 12, 201016 yr Author Thanks to those of you who recommended Khun Nienke as a dog trainer. Today Nienke completed a 10 hour course (one hour per session/two days per week) for my dog, myself, and my girlfriend. All three of us (dog, girlfriend, myself) learned a lot. Definitely a worthwhile investment/experience and my dog is happier now that she knows how to please us.
March 12, 201016 yr Thanks roger1999, it was a great joy to work with you and Khun Mai. Your dog is an absolute adorable little creature who is so willing to do all sorts of activities with you. She will steal the show when you demonstrate all the tricks you've taught her. Or, probably, she is already doing that. Nienke
