Skin Cancer Screening

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Anyone have a recommendation for a dermatologist in Phuket for skin cancer screening. My experience at Bangkok Phuket hospital was painful so am looking for an alternative. Thank you!

Hi Scuba,

I have gone there for years, but last time they had a new doctor that was a little rough and painful in removing some pre-cancerous growths. The treatment was correct, I just am looking for an alternative if there is one someone can recommend. I may check out the international hospital...thanks for responding

Dermatologists in Thailand are cosmeticians, period. What you need is a plastic surgeon. None to recommend in Phuket although one of the newer places across from Lotus is suppose to be equipped with laser for pre cancer removals. Have not tried so cannot recommend. If you need a very good dermatologist go to Samitivej Hospital and Dr. Paritas. He has had training and experience outside Thailand ( Yale University and East Haven Veterans' Hospital). Knows his stuff!
