Hi can anyone recommend a good Yamaha mechanic that also does spare parts in Phuket ?? do i need to go to one of the dealers or can i find a little guy somewhere that has a good reputation ?

Cheers

With the little guys, be careful. If you have a Nuovo they like to use Mio spare parts. That stuff fits, is cheaper, but not as durable as the original Nuovo parts. (Happened to me, the parts were battery, clutch, and rear break pads.)

Surely Phuket must have a decent bike mechanic for bigger bikes somewhere , where does everyone with big bikes go ??

hmm, quality and price of work and parts are up and down so I cant recomend any. one reason for replacing VTX 1800cc v-twin and Tmax 500 with my present Kawasaki Ninja 650R, thai made, cheap parts and inexpensive kwaker workshops everywhere.

Edit. What i can do is to list some, its not a recomendation

Teera, bypassroad

Sumon, bypassroad, Harley signs

Yamaha Talang is supposed to handle Phuket Big yammys

V-twin phuket town close to robinson, called Motorcycleworld now

How old is you TMax and what mods are you planning?
