British Nationality

Featured Replies

Me and misses are doing her application for British citizenship and we have a question about SECTION 5: REFEREES AND IDENTITY.

One of them has to be of professional standing I have checked the guide and I have come across these jobs with professional standing.

Engineer (with professional qualifications), dose this include plumbers?

Also

Personal Licensee Holders, will this include SIA security licences?

Help will be much appreciated.

Peace D.

I don't think that a plumber would count as a professional engineer (with all respect to plumbers and other trade persons).

Personal Licensee Holders means the person holding the licence for pubs, clubs etc to sell alcohol; SIA security licence holders wouldn't come under this category.

The list is quite broad, you must know someone who fits one of the categories.

annexa.pdfcheers thanks for that it is a licence to sell alcohol laugh.gif that's good anyway because she knows someone with a personal licence (her manager). We should of heeded the advice on this board about sorting it out when she first arrived but we have moved city's since she arrived.

Anyway I have attached the list
