I want to book some flights online with Air Asia, what will happen with the tickets, will they send them to me in the UK or will it be E-tickets....?

Cheers

E Tickets only.

Simply print out the confirmation page which will contain a 6 digit alphabetic code. Provide this code to the check in agent with your passport, and you're good to go.

Hope this helps. :o

Mai pen rai!

Another bit of Air Asia advice....

They don't assign seats. You just sit wherever you can. First to get on the plane get the seats near the front with unobstructed "no wing" view from the window, and are the first off the plane also. So- get to the gate early to queue up!

Also- the boarding pass they give you isn't like a normal boarding pass. More like a supermarket reciept tape. Easy to lose or throw away (which I actually did)!

Don't assign seats eh.... not sure I can be bothered with the free for all that will cause, my wife hasn't flown before and I don't really want to add to her anxiety.. :o

She'll probably adapt easier than you !

She doesn't get anxious when she gets on Skytrain, ferry or a Bus without a seat assignment now does she !!!

Not as bad as it sounds- not quite a free for all! It is basically the same as queueing up to get on the plane with your assigned seat boarding pass in hand. Just helps to be at the head of the queue!

Your wife will have no problem with it. Like The_Eye_Of_Sauron says- not much different than skytrain, bus etc. Besides- if this is her first flight, she has nothing to compare to and won't know any different.

My GF had never flown before we met, and I took her for the first time! Great fun! Now I can't go anywhere without her!

I suggest that you wear long sleeves to avoid deep fingernail scratches / marks on landing! hahahaha! :D:D

Being at the head of the Q will not help, it's first off the bus that takes you to the plane.

The problem is working out which door the dirver will open to let the passengers off. I guess correctly about 50% of the time.

Also, they usually don't let you sit in the front 3 or 4 rows

But then if you are first off the plane and its another bus ride then again you will be last off the bus at arrivals.....so the idea is to be last on the bus (theres a nice little bar for the C.M dept.at D.M.)and last off the plane....relax..............or dont bother going in the first place :D:o
