My husband needs to renew his Thai passport so he can send it to get his Permanent Resident Visa for Canada.

Does anyone know how long this takes?

If you live in Trang your nearest office is Songkla -very good service and will send EMS to you in about 3 or 4 days.

You probably know but you have to renew (in person) every 5 years - no more extend 5 years on the biometric ones.

There are 3 locations in Bangkok, Chaeng Wattana being one of them. Have a look at this link. Apply in the morning and collect in the afternoon.
