Tourist Visa Extension

i have heard that the 2 month tourist visas will not be issued if you had a previous one and extended it for a month.

Does anyone know if this is true???

The info i have is that penang consulate wont give you a new tourist visa if the previous one was extended.

That seems to be a local rule for Penang, but have not seen other reports of that practice being applied elsewhere.

Thank you - i wish more people would comment but i assume that this means that the rumor i heard is unfounded
