What Are Some Accepted Reasons For Getting 1yr Non-imm O Visa Multi Entry Other Than Retire, Marriage, Family, Or Perth's Visit Friends

Perth sounds great. I do have friends to visit in Thailand.

I am applying in Vancouver Canada. I do not have Retirement, Marriage, Family reasons for 1yr Non-Imm O Mutli Entry Visa. I have had Tourist Visas in the past but I want to get Non-Imm O Visa.

I assume they will want a reason for going to Thailand. My reason is that I enjoy living there. No work, no study, no marriage, no retirement, just a great lifestyle and learning about Thai culture and language on my own.

What are considered acceptable reasons in Vancouver Consulate?

p.s. I have been living on Tourist visas in an apartment in Thailand for 3 years with my Thai girlfriend.

I do not think that you can get a one year non o visa based on the reasons that you give. You could get a 6 month or one year non o visa if you enrolled in a Thai language school as I did, coming from Toronto. I paid the fees and the school sent a letter for the Thai consulate in Toronto asking for a 6 month Ed. visa. I may be a little older than you and had explained to the Consulate that I was eventually going to retire in Thailand, he took it upon himself to suggest that he give me a one year education visa as long as I did not mind paying the difference in price. I thought that it was fantastic. So I have 100 hours at a Thai Language school here two and a half months, and a one year Ed. visa that I can extend to 15 months. Hope that this is of some help. You must be out of Thailand to get the Ed.
