On a couple of occasions this message has shown:"You have posted more than the allowed number of quoted blocks of text" when I've tried to add a comment.

I didn't realise there was limit on the amount of text members can post and if there is - as there obvioulsy appears to be - what is the limit?

What is the time limit on this block?

I wonder if this restriction is specific only to a particular forum or perhaps thread for that matter. Just a few minutes ago the pop up notice prevented me posting twice on the Thailand Newsclippings forum - and again last week.

I get it. It applies to that post only and isn't an accumulated total for several posts. Stupid me.

I believe it is four quotes per post.

However, is there a limit to how many nested quotes there are in a post, with a one line response, I do hope so
