cognos, you've only got to look at the first few pages of any newspaper, they're all the same, very gory & its all so not needed. I don't understand why they do it, its disgusting. There is absolutely no dignity in dieing in this place, if you die in just about any way other than peacefully in your sleep, rest assured your going to be on the pages of a newspaper somewhere.

How very sad that such a young and innocent person should die. And how sad that so little respect has been shown for the body.

Agreed - and I know this item may qualify as news to some - but I could have lived without the report here to be honest.

Quote "At the incident location, 2 km. away from Sukhumvit Road at a 140 Rai garbage disposal area on the Khao Maikaew-Rayong Road, Moo4, the team encountered a large number of fascinated locals, ghoulishly viewing the remains of the baby".

Maybe it should have read "...encountered local reporters, ghoulishly viewing the remains of the baby"

One thing for sure is with DNA they will almost certainly find the mother, and farther, may take some time but there now is a good chance of detection even if it takes years.

You must be joking. Perhaps you expect they'll be doing a DNA test of every Pattaya resident.

They won't be looking too hard and they'll never find the mother.

A sad demise for a young soul.

The media here has improved over the years, i rember when i first came here - it was blood and guts to the fore!! the local matichon etc, just too fkn hideous, now they do blur out the blood etc, but a long way of censorship and respect?

The TV( television, not our beloved Thai Visa) amazes me, blur out cigarettes, bottles of beer, yet wall to wall pistol whippings and slappings of the women are OK, crazy??

Be some more <deleted> tommorow, dont worry!

^Cannot. I am guessing that someone, somewhere will notice the absents of this infant and report it to the Authorities, as no doubt the parents of the child must be implicated in this.

DNA will only be useful once they have a suspect. Hopefully there is some follow up work on this terrible tragic matter.
