Thanks for sharing, but do you have a pic of the finished job without the tatooed ladies in the pic?

Is it centrally mounted or from the base of the LH mirror base?

It's hard to tell from the pics. :)

:)

It's mounted on the front of the bike.

On the black removeable center piece thats shaped like an upside down chevron.

I don't know if that's what you mean by center mounted.

I am currently in Hong Kong, but next week I will post better pics.

Ok. :):D

Have a look at Prepress's pics of his mount.

60Csx....... good choice!

Are you still able to ride with the chevron still attached?

I've been staring at that handlebar / mirror area trying to work out a way of mounting electronic toys. :)

Works fine, the chevron is attached securely. I get a lot of funny looks from the BIB. I guess they haven't seen many scooters with a GPS :)

They're probably jealous, too. :)

I have a RAM U-Bolt handlebar mount that I use on my mountain bike, also for the 60 Csx. I gave up on the handlebar area of the scooter and tried to find a way to center mount it. The mount for my scooter doesn't really allow that, so I mounted it off-center. I looked at mounting it near the mirror but ultimately the shape of the 60 Csx interfered with the mirror. The car or motorcycle specific Garmin units can more easily be mounted in the mirror area, but the 60 Csx is supposed to be a handheld unit, and it's shape doesn't allow it to be mounted everywhere.

My wife has a Suzuki Best that I take out exploring once in a while. It has a broken mirror and I use the threaded post to mount my 60Cx on. I just clip the belt holder on the mirror stub and use rubber bands to keep it from vibrating. Anyone with a bit of mechanical savvy could easily use the mirror stub to make a more permanent decent looking mounting. Even with the temporary mounting, I am able to turn the mirror stub and lock it so the GPS bottom rests on the plastic handlebar cover. The 60Cx has a tapped screw hole in the back that could be used to firmly attach the GPS to the mirror stub.
