Anyone Have A Map They Are Not Using?

Featured Replies

Anyone have an extra map they are not using as I notice some people have both esri and garmin se asia maps.

Maybe one of you chose one rather then the other and wouldnt mind selling it.

I have garmin nuvi 760 with sd slot

I have TSM10 map that come with garmin mobile 20 which I am no longer using.

I also have non NT TSM8 map that come with iQue 3600. The iQue is gone for good but I still have the map stored somewhere in my computer.

Not sure how can you sell the map because it is locked with the unit hardware ID.

New TSM10 map cost about 2000 THB. I don't think it is too expensive.

You'll get on famously here. :D

If I remember correctly, the original ESRI Thailand maps were priced at 11,000 baht. Now they are priced at 2,000 baht. Anyone who can afford to buy a GPS should be able to afford that.

I gave my friend the ESRI v10 map CD which came with my unit.

He tried to upgrade the map in his Nuvi which LOCKED UP.

It was necessary for him to bring the unit back to the orgiinal seller to unlock, he eventually needed to purchase the map.

Lesson learned............................

ESRI map CDs are unlocked to the GPS S/N. There are also firmware issues with the v10 map. If your friend didn't purchase his Garmin in Thailand, didn't have the correct S/N on the CD, or have the current Thai firmware installed it's no wonder his Nuvi locked up.
