Does anyone know whether ICO are still operational?. They did some work for us several years ago when we bought our condo, but have been hearing recently that they are no longer in business. Anyone have any information on them?

I for one would be delighted if they have disappeared.

I used them for both house purchase and consequent sale and found them no problem and a better price

However I have seen many people warn about them

So if your friend needs something from them know in advance what he needs and what it should cost

Only thing you need to know, any law firm with the title, ICO, avoid like the plaque.

A law firm that also pretends to do book-keeping/accountancy, but don't. They sub it out, it is always late, always inaccurate and a total SNAFU.

These warnings are for real.

I've only used them for drawing up bilingual contracts and have no complaints at all regarding that part of their service.

I bought and sold a house with them. It was smooth sailing. Yai and Marina were most helpful. Next time, I will buy a condo, and I still might get their help.
