I am also looking at having buttocks implants with him. I was thinking about going to the sp clinic, but have read some really bad reviews on the forum. Have only read nice things about Dr Tulayaphanich so far. Hope this helps. When are you going?

I can't comment on the specific doctors but I do advise against having this type of procedure, which will require general anestehtic, done in a clinic setting. Too dangerous. Have it done in a hospital. Clinics do not have sufficient emergency faciklities to handle the rare but possible complications.

If you are keen on these partricular doctors, ask them if they have privileges at a hospital, almost surely they will

Hi Bamar86

I've actually had the buttock Implant done but I went to India Instead of Thailand due to the recent Anti-Government fiasco by the redshirt or whatever they name.

I've had the surgery done by Dr Surindher D.S.A, from my experience he is very good he as his own clinic but he done the surgery at Bangalore hospital only thing is that I wish I had gone a bit bigger than the size he gave me which is 375cc in each buttock but I think I could have gone up 425cc instead.

good surgeon and brilliant price but India is something else the country is so run down and miserable but you can find a nice hotel and stay in during your recovery I booked to stay there 14 days but changed it to 11 days instead cause miss my husband and I was on my own and boring as hel_l.

But if I should choose between Sp-clinic or Tulayaphanich I would go with Tulayaphanich most patient are happy with their result with him although he is more expensive.

Hey Sheryl

I've actually had the procedure done on the 5/5/2010 I'm recovering seem ok and a more nicer backside although it was very painfull cause I had the Implant place under the muscle instead of in between the muscle not my option where to place the Implant it was doctor advice but under the muscle was painfull but I did it at a hospital I would not done this procedure in a clinic incase something goes wrong if god forbid and I choose india because of thailand fiasco with the red shirt thing.

No I didn't have buttock augmentation, but I had liposuction by VASER liposelection. I have it done with Dr.Sompob Sansiri. I think Thailand is very safe now, and it's top choice to come have cosmetic surgery and traveling in the same time. Not sure about buttock augmentation, but I saw the info on Dr.Sompob's website.

Well, everything went very well for me so far and I'm happy with the result. If you want to have buttock augmentation, then you should send Dr.Sompob an email for consultation.

The experience I had with him is very positive, even though his English is not 100% perfect, but we can communicate very well, and he understand what I need.

Many clinics, and hospitals have hidden cost, and they always charge you more than what they say in the first place, but Dr.Sompob didn't charge me any hidden cost, everything

was included in the price that we first agreed.

So if you ask me whether I would recommend this doctor, then the answer is absolutely YES...

This type of procedure -- and any other requiring general anesthesia -- should not be done in a clinic. Not in any clinic. (The better clinics will in fact use the facilities of a hospital to do it in).

And trying to cut corners on price with respect to cosmetic surgery = bad idea.

The wife just did Vaser liposuction of the legs with Dr. Sompob two weeks ago.

First, he put up with countless emails and a couple visits to discuss over the course of 4 months with no pressure to choose him.

Second, why would you choose to do anything with general anesthesia in a clinic? To save 15,000 Baht? We paid the extra and it was all done in a hospital. The hospital he chose was small and far from the centre of Bangkok, but it was a hospital and she stayed there one night with 5 nurses outside round the clock. Then she moved into the hotel across from SP Clinic for a few days so the doctor could check on her daily.

As for the result. I don't know yet. Lipo causes swelling and it takes some time to go down. So at the moment, it's too early to say. I will certainly come back and post.
