dobadoy Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Today the Nation repeated the claim that the Red leaders are enjoying nightly stays in luxurious hotels. How come there are no pictures of them entering/leaving said establishments? Surely the publication of these would do much to undermine their credibility as 'leaders of change' and show they really are just for the status quo with a change of captain? Be great to see some of those pictures, if they exist, posted here.
slapout Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 probably sneaking in thru the service entrance. You have to watch carefully for the buggers as they are quick as a cat.
dobadoy Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 probably sneaking in thru the service entrance. You have to watch carefully for the buggers as they are quick as a cat. Or the Nation aren't quite getting there facts right? I have to say even though I'm anti-Thaksin and pro-Abhisit (in the sense that I think he's got a better chance of leading the country forward), I am very disappointed with the bias in the Nation's reporting. I won't be trusting them with my few satangs any more. Even "the paper that shall not be named" is (marginally) more objective. Pity there isn't a proper English language press in Thailand that adheres to the standards of unbiased and objective reporting.
Ulysses G. Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 It is not impossible that such a hotel is owned by a Northerner who comps them, if it is true in any way at all.
rodentwarrior Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 The Hotel in question is in fact the Hyatt Hotel. The Reds have booked 9 suites there.
RawaiRumper Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I'm headed to BKK to see the show. As to the 5Star etc. I'll report back if there are any guests in the Exec Lounge of the Grand Hyatt either wearing red or directing movments via radios... That would be cool to have the red who the cops want holed up at the Hyatt Erwan running the movments from the EL. Can we get one of the news hounds to post pics of the outlaws so I can get an autograph and pic with them!
scorecard Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 The Hotel in question is in fact the Hyatt Hotel. The Reds have booked 9 suites there. What confirmation or proven source do you have for this?
SpoliaOpima Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 They're staying in suites at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, according to the newspapers and to a friend of mine who works for the Grand Hyatt.
SpoliaOpima Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 As for photos, do you think they would allow someone to photograph them in the hotel, esp in the luxury suites they occupy while their supporters sleep on the hot pavement?
britmaveric Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Mate of mine who works at the Hyatt says no reds are staying there - not welcome.
chester566 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 as we all know thai love america and i doubt they want "leaders of change" to take over. they dont or need want a thai barack obama showing them the way
hammered Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 trt links to thast hotel that have already been mentioned on here so it wouldnt be a surprise. Lets be honest politcal leaders the world over are always willing to let their people suffer while they dont
Chaimai Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Sawasdee Sukhumvit was good enough for me for a night. Cost me less than a rice farmer gets for travelling fron Chiang Mai to Bangkok in a red shirt.
basjke Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Mate of mine who works at the Hyatt says no reds are staying there - not welcome. When I look at your posts lately then I'm sure all your mates wear red shirts so your statement here has no value.
