I have a small project that requires the fabrication of acrylic / Plexiglas. Does anyone know of such a person or place in Chiang Mai that may be able to do this? Directions, addresses and / or phone numbers most appreciated.

I don't know about acrylic / Plexiglas. But there's a shop I once visited at Nonghoi they make all sort of glasses with colors. Here's a map for you.

Not sure if this can help, but I have bought acrylic from 2 places. Bangkok Plastics (on the major roundabout intersection near bus station) and Chiang Mia Acrylics/plastics (be carefull IT IS NOT CM PLASTIC in Worowat) near Waralai st (sp) "the silver road" where it divides into two.

When at CM acrylics they sugggested a place for making;

"Red Graphics" a sign writers/makers place that was described as "around the corner"

I never went there and I am sorry for the vague directions but usually a thai person draws me a map with local landmarks or verbally describes where to go cause they know what I know and telling you that will be pointless.

Try asking somewhere around the area or at a hardware shop and they might be a better help.
