Phnom Penh? Expired Toursit

My Visa on Arrival expires on April 15. I wanted to go to Phnom Penh for the same day Visa. I went to book my plane and was told the embassy was closed on the 15. Now, what are my best options? Do I extend for a week? Overstay for a few days? Go elsewhere? Is PP still issuing the same day Visa?

I think the Bangkok Immigration office is closed tomorrow. Any suggestions?

All Consulates will be closed tomorrow and Immigration will not be open until Monday. I would not count on Consulates being open Firday either but that will likely vary from place to place. I would plan a border trip tomorrow morning to Cambodia to obtain a 15 day visa exempt entry (if you are from a country allowed such entry).

Hang out by the riverside, Markets and tourist stuff, Sharkies bar, Howies bar...

I would have flown to PP and would spent some nice days there until the Thai Embassy is open again.

A little late for that now. I am now one day overstay. If I go to airport on Monday, will I get in trouble? Or, just have to pay a fine? Or, should I go to Immigration to get a 7 day extension and then go to airport on 22nd?

You go now, 19.4. to Immigration, you pay 5 day Overstay = 2.500 B. + 1.900 B. = 4.400 B.

You go to Airport on 22.4. to fly out, you pay = 8 x 500 = 4.000 B.

Its your decision, the Airport Immigration will not give you any trouble,

only if you have problems with authorities-police until you are at the Airport Immigration you could be in more trouble.

if he goes on 19th April to Immigration he will not being charged for the overstay as 15th to 18th April was holiday.

He will be charged for overstay if he leaves the country by air or land.
