Anyone Heard Of Dove ?

Featured Replies

While doing a search for another topic on this board via the UKNARIC website, it came up with quite a thorough rundown of the education system in Thailand.

I hope to be coming there in August to teach, but most of my experience has been in vocational education. It seems that the Thai government have, through the DOVE (Department of Vocational Education) some kind of vocational training going on at various colleges and institutions around Thailand. (It says here that there are 413 colleges being managed by the DOVE).

Anyone out there know anything about this or of any of the colleges that participate in this programme. Is it worth going after ?

Much obliged

Just a quickie. but check the web sites of Rajamongala Institute of Technology (RIT) and Rajaphat University. Virtually all provincial cities have a big vocational college. English teaching course books are notable better than the high schools.

Good luck

Many thanks for that

The problem with the Rogerpots, however, is that they pay you just about enough to slowly starve to death - and will attempt to work you like a coolie for the privilege. Fine, if you enjoy being overworked and have income from other sources. Not so fine if you don't.
