drprasannabhat
Dear All, Please advise on the procedure, documentation and cost involved in importing two wooden massage tables to Bangkok. They measure about 7*4*0.5 feet and weigh about 100 kilos together. Made of jackfruit wood. I would appreciate any additional information and guidance required. Thank you friends. Regards, Prasanna

richardt1808
absolutely agree. Talk to a shipping agent. There will probably be duty on such an import and the amount sometimes depends on the mood of the officer who handles your paperwork at Customs. Pib
Gosh, there are tons of quality tables of various woods and many different designs available to buy in Thailand at great prices. If you haven't bought the tables already or you've owned them for years, are you "sure" you want to pay transportation and customs costs--it's ain't going to be cheap. Plus, there is always the possibility of damage in shipment. As mentioned in above posts, talk to a shipping agent, but I expect even they won't be able to give you 100% surety on customs charges.
