I've got to have a medical certificate done for inclusion with my work permit application (work is doing it for me).

Can anyone recommend a medical clinic / doctor reasonably close to soi 11 for this purpose?

Thanks Martin - which "end" would that be? The 7-11 / Bed Supper end, or the Sukhumvit End? Is Cheap Charlies a pub?

I have used this clinic a few times. Cheap and quick.

Don't forget to ask them to check for syphilis. No, I'm not joking. I know quite a few people whose WP applications were refused because a lot of small clinics don't know about this requirement.

Got it done down at soi 11 near cheap charlies as mjperry suggested. Mrs. is Thai so she read and understood all the requirements - and as far as I know, the little clinic did the lot. Going for the WP on Tuesday / Wednesday - red shirts permitting - if all is a sucess, I will be recommending this place to others - very friendly, quick, and appears knowledable.

PS. Went to cehap charlie or a drink tonight ..... a bit falkey if I must say - graduated from that kind of crust a long time ago..... as in before I EVER came to Thailand......

I went to the soi 11 clinic when my back collapsed shortly before the long flight home. I was lured in by the smile of the supersexy nurse. All seemed good until the doctor arrived, who was quite a sight - either a serious loon or yaba'd off his tits. I most certainly didn't want to get into an argument with him and was wary of what he prescribed. I googled them back at my room and all drugs were spot on. Overall I think he's a competent doctor, but he's a loony, no doubt. The surgery is also rough and ready.
