Last year my (thai) friend could enter Switzerland using a "Schengener Visa". Is this still possible?

THX a lot for your reply - I am relieved; as a matter of fact a referendum will (tomorrow) decide whether or not the Swiss will except (inter alia) the Schengen-Dublin treaty.

Deceitfully the elucidations of the Federal Council ("Bundesrat") suggest that with voting "yes" holders of a Schengener-Visa will be then eligable to enter Switzerland.

This has been possible BEFORE! I deeply regret that people in a so-called "direct democracy" are beeing deceived and lied to.

I hope swiss people will tomorrow vote "NO" for joining a union which has been disapproved recently by France and Holland.
