There is a tree outside my house with trumpet shaped white flowers. Every morning a whole bunch of them fall off. Various Thai people come and gather them up to eat every day. Can anybody tell me the name of this tree?

I have attached a couple of pics

I don't know the answer to this one, but there are quite a few edible flowers in Thai cuisine (e.g. bougainvilllea... though I know they're not actually flowers but flower bracts). I suggest you post this on the Thai food forum.

This tree seems to be a member of the family Bignoniaceae, genus Dolichandrone, possibly Dolichandrone sphathacea. I believe its Thai name is ต้นแคนา...
