Pacific Cross / Liberty International

Featured Replies

I want a new health insurance and I am looking at Liberty and Pacific cross. Does anyone has experiences with them (good/or bad)?

I have found only a few posts about Liberty but none about PC. Anyone?

These are both very good companies and are among those approved by the Thai Visa Brokers.

Should you need help please contact them Here

A word of warning: I checked out Pacific Cross:

1. Fitch rating agency has downgraded them to B- with outlook Negative (which is not very good to say it friendly) (google for pacific cross and fitch if you want to read)

2. They do not have any contact info on their site, only that of third parties! So you can not even call the company you are paying your premiums to.

If you are seriously ill or have a big accident, the last thing you need is troubles with your insurance in any way. So I will choose another option.

After a little research, I found some interesting info that everyone may be interested in.

Pacific Cross is not a registered insurance company in Hong Kong.

The only Pacific Insurance in Hong Kong is (http://www.pacificinsurance.com.hk/) and not related to Pacific Cross and does not sell health insurance.

Be aware that there is no insurance company acting as underwriter for Pacific Cross.

Pacific Cross underwrites their own policies from an unknown address as there is no office location indicated on any web pages or their policy package.

The very fact that an entity allows its site to be used and/or endorsed such unlisted and/or unregistered company constitutes fraud accompliace.

Thx for keeping us posted and updated on this possible fraudulent attempt.

You surely are a credit to the insurance company. Cheers.
