Wonder if the American Citizens Section had/has a contingency plan to open up a temporary location in Bangkok that people can get to provide some service? Maybe the ambassador will announce an alternate service location in the town hall meeting on Tuesday.

As FYI, I did inquiry today to the ACS email address about the possibly of the ACS opening up a temporay location. Their same day response was basically, "All information pertaining to operating hours and locations for non-emergency services –if we will be able to offer them—will be posted on our website."

So, in a nutshell, watch the American Embassy website for late breaking info. Fair enough for me along with the emails they send out to you once you register online with them.
