The immigration laws are constantly changing, so could somebody please clarify for me. My current Business visa first stamp runs out 30th May, I understand that I have 2 options, extend by 30 days at immigration, or to a visa run and get another 90 days. I am unclear about the 30 day extension, can you still do this?

TIA

No. The most you will get is a 7 day "extension", but you probably would need to show a ticket out of the country within 7 days.

Basicly you have two options: get a 1 year extension with all required paperwork (like work permit, documents from employer etc) or leave the country and return.

I am nearly 3 months into my first year. So do not need to renew, just to make this clear (first stamp). When I had a 'B' visa before I remember that I could extend by 30 days after the initial 90, but like I say things change. So it looks like just a 7 day extension? Just to clarify, if that is the case, then a visa run would be in order. Could somebody please confirm.

If you have a Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa you cannot extend at Immigration unless it is for 12 months.

You never could.

EDIT.

Typo. I meant "B"

You need to make an exit/return to Thailand to obtain a new 90 day stay. You can not extend for 30 days on a non immigrant visa.
