Red-Shirt Leaders Plea For An End To Riots

webfact

Recommended Posts

I said nothing about taking money out of Thailand. Thaksin is in Dubai, so clearly any money used to fund the red shirts would have come into Thailand. The money I'm talking about is the money that the red shirt leaders allegedly received from Thaksin as payment. It's just hard to believe they would keep it in Thai bank accounts, since Thaksin's accounts were frozen and they must have surely known about the government keeping an eye on all their accounts.

You mean like they kept an eye on the Thai Stock Exchange. Or Central World. Ineptitude is not a rarity round these parts.

I reckon the Thaksinites have been getting relatively free movement of funds and weapons and whatnot, until now. This recent pyromania has been a sea change for the little red p1$$ants in my opinion. I don't think they will move more than 5 baht anywhere in future without swat teams appearing.

Weren't the leaders especially Nattawut and Arisman the ones that encouraged the protesters to burn the city? Now that it happened they don't to take responsibility for their actions!

From one of the videos of Arisman, many of his named targets have already been hit, but there are still some remaining targets from his list that haven't been burned to the ground.

I wonder when that will occur and what the ramifications will be.

According to Arisman on this video, his list of targets for burning are:

Siriraj Hospital, All Muslim Mosques, Government House, Important Ministries, Airports, Rajavithi Road, Bridges, Bank of Thailand, Commercial Banks, Military Barracks, Court of Justice, and NGO's

will all be destroyed....

"Not one of these will remain standing."Does anyone have a link to this video?

I wonder what sentences these guys will get. If they get only 1-2 years they will do it again.

Well, there was some talk about the death sentence. Not sure if there's any truth to that, but if there is, it will probably do wonders to heal Thailand's already deep divisions.

I sincerely hope that ALL the main red leaders get the lethal injection, and that includes Jatuporn (whose jab I hope takes longer to work!!) :)

I think death penalty is too merciful. Gaffer-tape all of them to concrete chairs and force them to watch millions of hours of 'The Golden Girls'. Or Victoria Beckham singing videos. Until they swallow their own tongues.

In any case, they are now officially mass-murderers. Their actions have led directly to many deaths, and many broken, ruined families and businesses. If you believe in karma I suppose they can expect justice for many lifetimes to come.

if the thai goverment has any good advisors behind the scenes, i would have thought a clever ploy would be to use the red shirt leaders to their advantage.

i.e. break the back bone of the movement and watch them self distruct. dig up all the nitty gritty on these prominent figures, showing that all these guys cared about was what was going into their bank accounts. not the cause of the people, they were meant to be representing.

the government are in a strong positon at the moment, after yesterdays events and reports about the black shirts locking in the protesters at the wat last night. surely even some of the most die hard red shirt supporters must be having some doubtful thoughts about their so called leaders motives to gain power. once they get back home to the heartlands of red support( chiang-mai and isaan) some of these stories of the events that happened in bangkok will filter out.

just plant the seed and watch it grow, give it a little bit of water and tender loving care now and again, so to speak. end result is abhisit wont have to do much, just watch on as they fight and bicker between themselves.

Guys,

I think that is what we could very well see. The Thai government really puts it to these guys to give up Thaksin or face the hangman. They testify that he was behind it all. The government also has financial transactions. They go after those people. Same deal. They put it all on Thaksin. They dissolve the Peau Thai Party. Then they make it known that any future "Red Shirt Leaders" who claim to be willing to die better be prepared to actually do so.

Then, perhaps, with the help of the US/UK, they are able to extradite Thaksin from one of these nations (This will probably be harder as long as the international press keeps backing him up) and that is the end of the Thaksin era.

One thing I find a bit unbelievable in this whole story. Supposedly the government found hundreds of millions of Baht in the accounts of the red shirt leaders. Several red shirt leaders visited Thaksin in Dubai. Don't you think they would have opened accounts offshore and put the money there? Thaksin's money in Thailand was already confiscated, I don't think he would have put any more money on Thai accounts, and surely the red shirt leaders wouldn't have either.

I would think the money is being kept hidden under your red hat.

Who would dream of searching a kitty?

Thaksin's Mata Hari.

A dream come true for you.

Hello, knock knock. They only confiscated PART of the sale price of Shin Corp.

Not even close to his extant worth in Thailand. Plus they left them 30 odd billion baht from Shin Sale.

Of course the red leaders need cash to keep the show running at fever pitch.

His wife, wasn't it? The reason she gave to the bank was "to buy lottery tickets". Seriously, sometimes I'm wondering if the government really is that ....well, dense? To put it nicely. Or if they're letting the Shinawatra's off the hook every time on purpose.

Remember Thaksin leaving for China to watch the Olympic Games? He left with dozens of boxes full of cash from Suvarnabhumi. Don't tell me nobody knew about that. And don't tell me either that they didn't exactly know that he was never coming back.

The same with not knowing that Thaksin's wife wouldn't use the 1.2 billion Baht to buy lottery tickets.

Different government when he sneaked off to China

Looks like this government have the money trail documented to some degree. Example Sudarat denied giving any money to the reds but the red leaders said she had. That implies they know full well the transfers were documented.

I wanna know whiuch red leader had 100 million cash in an account.

If you were really smart you would have asked one of your red mates to have looted a nice little gold necklace.

I doubt if he would have had the time to sort out the name tag engraving:

'If found please return this little kitty to __________'

So you have something to do this weekend.

Life's quite exciting for a kitty kat, yes?
