And now what will happen in Thailand?

The government may have win this battle but not the war, no issue is solve.

I already know who will be the looser in this game, even if the Red won this battle the same people would still be the looser. Some say those looser are from the north and the north east but I say that it is not only from people from those 2 regions but more about the color of their skin. This is a issue that have to be address in the Thai society along the corruption.

If you are born with a darker skin in Thailand you are already on the wrong side of the fence even if you have a university degree the whiter skin will always get the job before you just because of the color of your skin. Everywhere in the Thai society your are viewed like a lower cast of people, the door mat of the society. Every day of your life you are remind of your place, you are search while exiting a store because of the color of your skin (Carrefour are you reading this), everyday of your life you are bombarded with publicity's with skin whitening product and people with white skin are the only one with a higher status and you are portrayed like a uneducated peasant because of the color of your skin. You watch TV soap and the people with status and money are all white and the people with darker skin are portrayed has servant, slave, peasant and uneducated. If you are a Thai woman with dark skin and you live in places with a great number of farang you are seen has a prostitute. Because of the color of your skin you prayed by the upper cast of your country (Thaksin are you reading this).

Until this issue is address Thailand will nor be in peace but I already know that in this "face saving" society this issue will not be address. The Thai will say "you are kidding me, Thailand is not a racist society" but has a outsider I say Thailand is a very racist society.

I write this in the name of my Thai friends who have dark skin, friends who have been reminded all their life what place they have in the Thai society, friends who will never write about that since they know what place they occupied in the Thai society. :)
