I am looking for high quality Thai silk material for a lady's dress. Need to purchase 7-10 meters here in Pattaya. Went to Jim Thompson's but they referred me to their Bangkok stores. Recommendations please.

A friend of mine experienced the same challenge.He found a shop in the basement of Central,near the Pattaya Beach rd end.

Had a good range of quality silks,and the shop assistant spoke good English.

I have seen that shop in Central, and they do have some nice stuff, but it's a tad expensive? Jim Thompson's is the most over-priced place in Thailand. :)

Thanks for the replies. I actually found what I wanted (color and single-ply) at the main Jim Thompson store in Bangkok.
