Budget Room For Rent In Udon?

Featured Replies

Hello all kind folk. I just got into Udon yesterday and I am teaching at the University so I'm not on a big budget. I had a room that I rented day by day and the monthly rental is 3,600 baht per month including TV, Fridge, Hot water, Free WiFi. This was great until she told the director of the school that she does not want to rent to Farang monthly so I am out tomorow at 12:00. Wowwwwww

Does anyone know a budget room with the same sort of price? I dont care about Air-con, a fan is ok, Even TV is not that important. What is important is that I have a small fridge (I'm Diabetic) and Internet connection. If anyone can please help with this short notice call me a.s.a.p at <snip> Tim Thanx all.

Your Landlord does not want to rent to a farang ?

Now I understand why some farang owned bars in Pattaya refuse to serve thais, just stupidity, especially when your running a business.

No no, I said she does not want to rent MONTHLY to farang. It means she would have rented it to me for 300 baht per day for a month sure but that math ='s 9000 baht when the actual monthly rent is 3,600.

Just another typical double pricing farangs or in this case tripple pricing. No wonder every one is moving to Laos, Mayanmar, Cambodia etc. We are all getting a little tired of this. Anyways I'm staying at th Hotel On campus for now so I'm still looking for reasonably rated rooms with easy access to the University via song teow etc if anyone knows any?

Ask some of the other Thai teachers if there are dorms on campus. Some of them are very nice and very inexpensive.
