Information For School English

I think you usually get what you pay for with regards to English schools, not always the case though.

You could spend a fortune at one of the more expensive ones and get some crap teacher, who has a hangover every day and doesn't give a shit(me 10 years ago). Always check out the teacher yourself first, you can tell the con men.You could also get a really good one at one of the cheaper ones.

Best value for money, I think is something like ECC, where my wife did a course a few years ago, when she couldn't speak ANY English. In her case, a Burmese guy was the best, who spoke a bit of Thai. Tell your friend to keep it up, as it is so easy for them to forget when they are not using it.

At a higher level, somewhere like the British council might be the best, unless she is straight out the paddy field(no one would speak to her, they are a real snooty lot).

I would stay away from the large classes.

If she has plenty of time, what about Ramkhamhaeg Uni? It is cheap and quite good.
