Ford 6610

Recommended Posts

Hi,

A question for the expat ford guru's.

My pto clutch is slipping when trying to use a rototiller behind it.

Is this factory set or can i adjust up the clutch pack internally.

I have only done chamberlains before which was relatively simple and done externally.

Thanks for any advice

You might send Maizefarmer a pm as he sells and repairs ford and has a good knowledge of the 6600 models. I never knew a pto had a clutch which could slip as all of our pto had a shear pin somewhere in the system. The brush hogs had a clutch addjustment. good luck

Thanks slapout, have a thai mechanic coming to modify it thai style,he's already taken out the dual power out of the clutch with success so i'm confident he can sort this problem out.

Brought it with a cab for herbicide spraying,my advice dont worry about a cab unless spraying as its taken me 2 days just to dismantle everything so he can work on it.
