Soi Seadragon Gogos To Be Relocated?

Featured Replies

Rumourmill says that the owners of the new resort are pressuring the authorities to have all the gogo bars in Seadragon relocated and for the touts licensed by the police to have their times restricted when they can operate. Somebody's idea to improve the image of the Bangla area!

I heard recently of 3 guys getting hit with a bill of 2700 baht for 3 beers in one of the gogos recently. You don't mess with the touts though...bit like the tuktuk drivers can be some nasty repraisals as one gogo owner can testify.

Save money - don't go to Bang La...

Wait for the holier than thou brigade to chime in.. It was obviously their own fault, they are just Thais trying to make a living, what do you expect going to a bar anyway, its not a scam etc..

u mean people still go to phuket and order beers ?

who knew ?

just a few million people a year

and all beer still only 70 baht in Kangoroo bar in Bangla Walking street

Save money - don't go to Bang La...

yes i stay away from the area..the pits!!

heard last year that the plan is to eventually relocate ALL the bars away and make Bangla some sort of 'upmarket walking mall''type with all high end businesses and accom.

one apparently featuring on-roof heli pad so the hi-so's dont have to suffer the car trip from the airport...

just what is needed to add more to the mahem....choppers zipping in and out of bangla!
