Amount Of Passport Validity Needed To Enter Thailand?

That is six months from time of entry, not six months from time of assumed exit, correct?

a MINIMUM of 6 mounths is reqd .

on my recent journey , from LHR ..

a young lady , on gap year holiday ,

was not alowed to board at check in ..

cos her passport was not valid , for long enough ..

i felt very sad for her :(:(

No, the passport must be valid for at least 6 month upon entry. Regardless of your visa.

18 months validity is needed to apply for a Non Imm O Visa Multi Entry.

From KL Thai Embassy.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NON-IMMIGRANT (O) VISA

1. Dependent Visa (Dependent of spouse or parent working in Thailand)

1. Visa Application form duly filled out.

2. Applicant passport valid not less than 6 months. The validity of 18 months is

required for one-year visa application.
