1: take the files on a thumbdrive back to Bangkok

or

2: download in THailand.

I appreciate that the BBC don't want us to do this, but my kids love their channels.

You can't access BBC TV through a Thailand IP address. You can make of that what you will.

Don't know about a thumb drive, but seems to me that if there isn't anything that can be construed as pornographic or against lesse majeste laws, it should be ok.

You can stream all their radio programming, though, and podcasts. BBC radio 3 maintains what little sanity I have left.

There are ways to overcome this problem , I'm watching BBC in Thailand and from other countries as well using a proxy . The quality is good , but you need a fast line.
