Redshirts Gathering Outside Central World (Again!)

Recommended Posts

I was just walking past the front of Central World and noticed there were a few (500 max) redshirts gathering outside the construction fence that now surrounds Central World. The police were standing between them and the traffic, presumably to stop any attempts for the crown to move out into the road.

One thing that kind of got to me was the fact the were writing and spraying graffiti on the construction fence, while the police stood by and watched. I'm sure if a non-redshirt wearing citizen were to do the same thing, they would be arrested.

Soooo, there's still some simmering tension in Bangkok....is there? :whistling:

Well let's hope it is just simmering and can be extinguished.

Maybe to the redshirts Central World is like Hitler's bunker is for Nazis?  :bah:

ooooooohhhhhh..........

How do you know that they were 'redshirts'? And don't bother saying, "Because they were all wearing red shirts." Anybody can cause trouble, particularly after the recently well publicised problems in BKK.

And as we all know, THAT was caused by fake redshirts too

If their leaders had respected them when they were alive - and accepted the peace deal - there would no need for any remembrance ceremonies now.

Sure its not a group of Scouse Liverpool supporters, who heard about the events in BKK a little late, but have visited anyway to see if there is something they can nick ?...:whistling:

Could it be that so many people were wearing red shirts was because it was Sunday? Thais have long had a custom of wearing a different color for each day of the week:

Sunday - red

Monday - cream/yellow

Tuesday - pink

Wednesday - green

Thursday - orange/brown

Friday - blue

Saturday - black/purple

What is there to burn now? Amazing story. We can hope, but we all know this ain't over.

After reading Huey post, and he is a farang,is it any wonder that the reds hate the Bangkok racist element

Well, that's a change, they usually totally ignore them. Maybe Abhisit personally put 100b notes in their pockets that morning.

He's going to have to out-bid TS if he wants more action than that.

How do you know that they were 'redshirts'?

Maybe he administered an IQ test and they all scored below 60. Anything higher means they're fake reds.

REALLY :o

What a SURPRISE :whistling:

It's a matter of time, following the PM's utterly inept 'roadmap'. The whole country surely now sees what his words are worth.
