BillStrangeOgre
I'm living at Phra Ram 9. Where is the nearest immigration office (or other) where i can get a re entry permit. There used to be a 'one stop shop' for certain issues near Mo Chit. Do they supply them? Cheers
FRM-BKK
Re-entry permits are only issued at Cheang Wattana Monday to Friday normal office hours; closed for lunch between 12 and 13.00. The old Immigration Office at Suan Phlu will issue re-entry permits on Saturday morning only, between 8.30 and 12.00. Frm-Bkk
BillStrangeOgre
Thanks. Do you know how long a re entry is valid for?
TerryLH
"Do you know how long a re entry is valid for?" It's good for as long as your current permission to stay date. If you buy a re-entry stamp when you only have a week left on your visa/extension to stay, it will only be good for a week. A re-entry stamp does not buy you more time. It just preserves whatever permission to stay date you currently have.
FRM-BKK
Thanks. Do you know how long a re entry is valid for? Single re-entry THB 1,000 Multiple re-entries THB 3,800 Validity of a re-entry permit runs together with the validity of your current visa and therefore the re-entry visa becomes invalid when your actual visa expires. lopburi3
Post 6 means your permitted to stay rather than visa expiration. Visas and extensions of stay and permissions to stay are not the same thing and the date on a visa is only an enter before this date time and has nothing to do with how long you can remain in Thailand. Frm-Bkk Are you talking only about Bangkok offices, or do you mean that no re-entry permits are available from regional Immigration offices, such as Korat?
