I have decided to get an upper and lower Blerpharoplasty done in Bangkok. Done a bunch of internet/forum research

and even spoke to a couple of Bangkok Physicians. Consensus was top Plastic Surgeons for this type of surgery

are (in no specific order):

1. Dr Poomee

2. Dr. Greechart

3. Dr. Pichit

4. Dr. Witoon

5. Dr. Preecha

I plan on meeting with 2-3 from this list for a consultation to see who i am most comfortable with but ultimately i am most concerned with experience/technical abiltiy and not too concerned with personality, etc.

My question is why/why not go with the least expensive Plastic Surgeon as they are all highly recommended? Just a note Dr. Poomee is 100,000 baht which is twice the price (but includes one night hospital stay) of a couple of the other Surgeons.

Not going to sweat a couple of hundred dollars but just looking for some opinions. Anything else to take into consideration?

Thanks.

I can highly recommend Dr. Preecha. The quality of his work is excellent and the price is reasonable (cheaper than Dr. Poomee). I had blepharoplasty and facelift done with him. I also find him more skillful than Dr. Poomee when it comes to facelifts.

Hope this helps,

Hello,

I'm new to PS and I have puffiness under my eyes...I went to a local surgeon here in europe but at first she didn't even noticed. After looking closely she didnt think my bags were that bad...

Mybe because she is european and donesnt have mutch experience on asian skins (I'm vietnamese background by the way) could that be?

Comparing to certain photos online, my bags are not that big with no loose skin or so...but still they really bother me...I also have kind of dark circles.

Anybody had my same problems? Can you guys suggest a good doctor who excel in blepharoplasty or such surgery to fix bags/dark circle in asian patients?

Thanks in advance!

Yesterday I compared last year's holiday pix with one I'm sending friends this year. I had blepharoplasty in spring-- and a big difference in my case is that the dark circles under my eyes are gone. I'm not Asian, so can't speak to any differences that might make, but I'm really glad I did it. As I've written in other places, I used Dr. Witoon and paid more than the others would have charged. Nothing against any of them. Was very happy with his work.

Although the recovery was relatively quick, the first week was not fun to look at, so give yourself time. It was really a few months later, when the "new" skin had grown, that I saw the full benefit.
