Anyone Know Of A Good (Honest) Mechanic In Koh Phangan?

Featured Replies

We are looking for a good (honest) mechanic to take care of our vehicle. Anyone have any recommendations for someone in Koh Phangan?

Our last mechanic was over charging us but not only that was using parts that were recycled as well. Found our car was worse after a visit to him, when we called him out on the "shady" parts he started getting aggressive with us. So now we are looking for someone to take care of our car. If anyone has a recommendation we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

I think this is the answer to your question, Thaimex.

You'll be much better off finding a good mechanic workshop in Surat, and doing the car maintenance ferry trip twice a year or so.

Which car are we talking about?

If a Suzuki you can go out of Thong Sala, the road to the Hospital, after the Big Mango on the right side, always good with my Suzuki. Now with a new Isuzu, I always go to Surathani.

Ask SBK to ask her husband  :whistling:

He doesn't fix other peoples cars. :)

Always said I wouldn't marry a man who can't fix my car :D

There is a good Garage before Cheweng Post Office on the right hand side heading for Lamai. It has a big Bridgeton Tyre sign outside.

They do everything & have many manufactures parts in stock, also cheap they sort my car out every time i've never had a problem yet.

Chaweng is on Koh Samui.

The OP asked about Koh Phangan.

Ah -- though Northener's reply was not directly on topic for the OP, it does help me since I'm looking for a good honest mechanic in Koh Samui. My engine just started knocking and smoking lightly. Probably not a good sign. I'll check out the place with the Bridgestone sign near the post office in Chaweng.
