1) work as an employee of a company here

2) start your own business

3) live off income produced from investments(cash, property,stocks,etc..) that you have accumulated in the west before your move

There's make a living and there's make money.

Neither are easy but the former is possible if you have the savy and the gumption.

I would start with a printing press and some rather sophisticated laser engravers.

Agree with others.

Have other revenue streams other than relying on just one here.

How do you make one in your home country? What you good at? What have you got to offer that thousands/millions haven't? I know people who have made a living from owning a bar.......but i know more who have gone bankrupt by owning a bar. Not a simple question really Vegemite.

Set up a distribution line in Falangland. Work flat out for 6 months. Then have a moderate income enough to live in Thailand. By going back to the Flangland for a month or so every year and set up new distribution lines over time your income level will increase.
