Contemplating A New Car (Again)

Featured Replies

So it is that time of the year again...

I am contemplating on getting rid of my lovely Vigo, just so I can get someting more sporty, like a 2.0 Civic or a 2.0 Mitsubisi...

I really like them both, and I do like new cars...

One of the reasons I do want to change is that I have my licenseplate that I bought at an auction a few years ago... It is still on the Jazz and I want it off as my friend bought that car... I hate seeing them drive around with my plate (yes, it did cost alot of money)...

So my options are, buy a new 4 door car, get the plate on that...

Take the plate off and sell it...

Apart from the Civic and the Mitsu... I have glanced at some second hand 2.4l camry's... they are all around 1million now...

Any suggestions??

It was my intention of getting a Nissan March/Mazda 2 for my GF but we broke up earlier this year (that is why I am now stuck with a plate and no car)...

What do you guys think?

Both the Honda and the Mitsu are nice cars, but I'd also recommend having a look at the Focus (especially the TD version) and the Mazda 3 as well.. In fact, at the 1M Baht mark there's quite a bit to choose from as you're well into SUV territory as well..

If you have any specific concerns (resale, new models) or requirements (space, seats, features etc) that may help narrow down the list..
